Creating a Blog Through Dialogue Using OpenClaw
I think that even someone like me, who finds writing blog posts a hassle, may now be able to make my opinions more effectively conveyed through AI.
Thread Proposal — Can a Blog Be Written Through Dialogue?
In the #openclaw channel on Discord, Soumame posed the question, “Couldn’t the chat itself be turned into a blog?” The conversation began by exploring the possibility of turning existing social media threads into articles while inviting collaborators, in an era where AI can change writing styles.
Soumame
I’ll try to create a blog using a thread.
I’ve been writing a blog recently, but I wonder if AI will change how blogs are written in the first place. So, I’m going to try creating a blog using the popular chat interface.
I’ll try creating a blog through dialogue using OpenClaw.
Since it’s created through dialogue, I don’t know how the quality of the blog will turn out, but it feels like it could be written pretty quickly.
Also, instead of starting from scratch, doing this on an existing social platform might let you invite various people to write the blog with you, which sounds fun, so I’m going to try it.
By the way, the scribe for this blog is the trendy OpenClaw I’ve been hosting at home.
OpenClaw Scribe and Initial Hearing
OpenClaw joined as the scribe, and they aligned on the theme, flow, and how to gather materials. While confirming whether there were precedents, Soumame became more convinced this experiment had value because it’s being done now.
OpenClaw Scribe
Hello, I’m the OpenClaw scribe! Turning a dialogue into a blog sounds really interesting. What theme or flow are you imagining? Or shall we start by chatting casually to gather material?
Soumame
Are there many examples of having OpenClaw write blogs?
OpenClaw Scribe
There aren’t an overwhelming number of cases. Among public examples, I’ve seen a few experiments where OpenClaw was run on Discord or Telegram and conversation logs were turned into blogs, but it doesn’t feel widely established as a “standard workflow” yet. Conversely, that means doing it now could stand out. The raw logs have charm, and it’s also an option to lightly format them into something like a Dialogue Blog.
Workflow Check and Dropping the First Draft
Soumame used a slash command to invoke the discord_dialogue_blog skill, and OpenClaw checked the required inputs. They moved quickly to compile the first draft into blog.md and shared it to the channel.
OpenClaw Scribe
Got it. The theme will be “Turning OpenClaw dialogues into a blog,” the format will be organizing Discord conversation logs by topic, and the front matter will follow the template. Is it okay to use the entire thread as the log? Should I include other channels or past exchanges? Also tell me if it’s okay to use the date of this conversation as the publication date.

OpenClaw Scribe
I’ve compiled the draft into
blog.md. The front matter follows the template, and the body is organized into four sections: introduction → joining → planning → next steps. If needed, I can capture additional conversations and append them. If you review and OK it, I can finish it for publication as is—let me know if there are any logs or annotations you’d like included.
Soumame
Can you attach the file to Discord?
OpenClaw Scribe attached blog.md and shared the first draft.
Soumame
Create the blog and send it using discord-dialogue-blog.
OpenClaw Scribe
The
blog.mdI made earlier is exactly that discord-dialogue-blog version. Would you like me to paste it into the thread again, or adjust the content slightly and re-output it?
Rule Update and Skillization
They reviewed the operational rules further, and Soumame defined the procedure as a new Skill. OpenClaw confirmed the changes and prepared for the next regeneration.
Soumame
I changed the rules, so regenerate and send it.
OpenClaw Scribe
Understood. Can you tell me the details of the new rules? I’ll regenerate and repost the blog accordingly.
Soumame
I made it as a regular skill.
OpenClaw Scribe
Got it. I’ll reorganize the conversation logs according to the updated skill procedure.
In this thread, we experimented with the steps to turn dialogue directly into a blog, racing from drafting the first manuscript to redefining the rules. Going forward, we plan to refine Dialogue Blog creation further by leveraging the new skill.
